ٹوٹا تو ہوں مگر ابھی بکھرا نہیں فراز
وقت ظالم ہے ہر ایک موڑ پہ ٹھکرائے گا
Tuta toh hoon magar abhi bikra nahi Faraaz,
waqt zaalim hai har ek mor pe thakrayega
زندگی ہم سے تیرے ناز اُٹھائے نہیں گئے س
انس لینے کی فقط رسم ادا کرتے ہیں۔
Zindagi hum se tere naaz uthaye nahi gaye
Sans lene ki faqat rasam ada karte hain
ختم اپنا درد کر جاؤں جی میں آتا ہے کہ آج مر جاؤں
Khatam apna dard kar jaaun Jee mein aata hai ke aaj mar jaaun
نہیں ہے سنگ کوئی ہمسفر تو کیا ہوا
خاموشیاں، ویرانیاں، رُسوائیاں تو ہیں
Nahi hai sang koi hamsafar to kya hua
Khamoshiyan, viraniyan, ruswaiyan to hain
مایوس ہو گیا دل اس زندگی کے سفر سے
مقصد کی محبتیں ہیں اور مطلب کی یاریاں
Mayoos ho gaya dil is zindagi ke safar se
Maqsad ki mohabbatein hain aur matlab ki yaariyan
کس کام کی رھی یہ ، دِکھاوے کی زندگی

zinda bhi hoon aur intiqaal kar gaya.
نظر کھا گئی ہم دونوں کی محبت کو
روز بات کرنے والے آج خاموش ہیں
Nazar kha gayi hum dono ki mohabbat ko
Roz baat krne wale aj khamosh hain
اب کے ہم بچھڑے تو شاید کبھی خوابوں میں ملے
جس طرح سوکھے ہوئے پھول کتابوں میں ملے
Ab ke hum bichhre to shayad kabhi khwabon mein mile
Jis tarah sookhe hue phool kitaabon mein mile
شیشے کے اس طرف سے میں سب کو تک رہا ہوں
مرنے کی بھی کسی کو فرصت نہیں ہے مجھ میں۔
Shishe ke is taraf se main sab ko tak raha hoon,
marnay ki bhi kisi ko fursat nahi hai mujh mein.
آج اتنا محسوس کیا خود کو جیسے
کوئی دفنا کر چلا گیا مجھ کو
Aj itna mehsoos kia khud ko Jaise
koi dafna kar chala gaya mujhko
